IBC2025: Innovation meeting of the media industry in Amsterdam!
Amsterdam, Niederlande - The countdown is running! Only a little more than a month up to the IBC2025, one of the most important events for the media and entertainment industry, which takes place in Amsterdam from September 12th to September 15th. A lot has happened in the past few weeks, and now the SMPTE has announced an exciting program that will deal with both the latest technology and the challenges of the industry. In TV Technology , it is unveiled that SMPTE offers a total of four free sessions as part of the IBC2025 partner program.
As in previous years, this time is also about the central role of innovation and cooperation. "IBC brings creative, technological and business communities together and serves as a global goal for inspiration," says the SMPTE. The organization is committed to the task of discussing current forms of industry and showing strategies for future developments. Leading broadcasters, content providers and other pioneers in the industry will take part in this event.
The SMPTE sessions in detail
On Saturday, September 13th, the participants can look forward to exciting topics. The first session entitled "Smart Workflows - Harnessing Ai Tools for Next Generation Content" starts at 2:10 p.m. and addresses how KI can revolutionize media production - be it through new narrative methods or through the identification of risks and opportunities. The next session at 2:55 p.m. deals with the topic "Securing and Standard Control: Inside the Smpte St 2138 Ecosystem", where a standardized control framework for media devices is presented.
The third and fourth sessions, "From Classroom to Control Room: Building Careers in Media Technology" (3:40 p.m.) and "SMPTE forward: New Standards, New Skills, New Communities ”(4:25 p.m.), aim to illuminate the recruitment of new talents and the introduction of new standards.
The opportunity for networking will be given by the ibc owner & partner programs . This is where specialists from the media and broadcast industry come together to discuss the challenges of the future. Networking events and representatives of the SMPTE
